April has been a blessing to me. Not only is she a winner, she helped me believe that I am one as well. She started out as a cutting horse under the training of Joey Kinser when his wife swiftly bought her to run barrels on. Not being able to hang on to her, Mom picked her up to either sell, or buy for ourselves. When she first brought her to the house to try, I was in the process of moving and Mom dragged me out to get on her. I was only able to slow lope her through the pattern and told Mom I thought she was nice. Well, good thing she was more ambitious then I was or I'd have missed out on a one of a kind opportunity. April has won the admiration of many and was recently nicknamed "Shirley Smart" after a discussion with pet psychic Terri Jay. Her accomplishments are many and not even abouit stop.
